CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW 2013

The 9 billion conversation garden designed for the charity Business in the Community explored the notion that by 2050 there would be 9 billion people on the planet. It promoted the need for business and community to work together in a lifelong conversation regarding the use of increasingly scarce resources as the population increased.

The garden took design inspiration from the work of Charles Jenks large scale land art. The garden aimed to demonstrate that land art could be applied successfully in small spaces and that lawns need not always be flat.
