We simplified the front of the house and the two courtyards. We added mature specimen flowering trees into the main entrance parking area to give a softer courtyard feel to the space, which was previously all hardscaping. In the formal garden we re-proportioned the garden borders to create a flower filled space. The grand staircase was renovated according to the existing historical design. In the meadow we created a low maintenance space allowing the grass to be mown into a less formal grass parterre with vistas across the space adding to the collection of magnolias.
