THE EDIBLE FOREST GARDEN

The edible forest garden is open to the public and also used by local schools as part of the ‘Forest Schools’ sessions with Sayers Croft.  It joins to the Bluebell Glade where over 10,000 bluebells were planted around pathways through the space.

This space has a sculpture trail, fruit trees, a nuttery walk and mounded herb planting.  Children can explore the wider senses of smell, taste and touch in this learning area.

Curved walls have holes where posts are inserted for den making.  The bluebell glade log circle is on the edge of the space and is used for story telling and outdoor lessons where the children can collect items from the space.
